Member of the American Optometric Association (AOA)A 5-time recipient of the Clinical Letter of Excellence, awarded to students who demonstrate excellence in patient care during clinical rotations. Dr. Zoe Baker has a comprehensive educational background and extensive clinical experience, developing expertise in various areas of optometry with a focus on pre/post-operative care for refractive patients that want to get out their contacts and glasses. Dr. Baker attended Texas Tech University, pursuing a degree in Chemistry and a minor in Biology and Spanish. Her commitment to service was evident as she organized and participated in two medical mission trips in Central America. After earning her degree in Chemistry, she attended The University of Houston College of Optometry for her doctorate. Dr. Baker is from Amarillo, TX. Her time at the Albuquerque VA during her clinical rotation sparked her love for New Mexico, which brought her back as a resident in Albuquerque to work at the Juliette Eye Institute. When she isn’t working, she enjoys cycling and playing pickleball.
